Jurassic World Dominion, the final movie in the latest Jurassic World trilogy, is coming out this summer. What’s different about this movie than the two before it, however, is that the OG Jurassic Park cast — Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum — are coming back to help Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard deal with dinosaurs.
Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment don’t want us to forget this fact, and have come out with a short video hammering home that the first Jurassic Park was a fantastic and influential movie, and that maybe Jurassic World Dominion is too?
Whether you believe Universal and Amblin’s claim, the clip above does give a nice tribute to the original Jurassic Park film and the impact it had on cinema. It also features clips from the upcoming Dominion, including Pratt chasing down a herd of parasaurolophuses in the snow as well as the OG cast alongside Pratt and Howard facing down a T-Rex. Things are pretty crazy in the Dominion world, it seems, now that dinosaurs live and hunt alongside humans after they got out of Isla Nublar four years ago.
In addition to the two generations of Jurassic stars, Dominion also has new cast members DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Severance) Scott Haze (Minari), and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). It also will see the return of BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez, and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè. The movie, like the two Jurassic World films before it, is directed by Colin Trevorrow.
Jurassic World Dominion roars into theaters on June 10, 2022.
